NARO team led by Doctor Jolly Kabirizi (PhD) and Doctor Juluis Mukarazi came to Kiruhura to monitor and evaluate project activities since NARO and Dream Farm Kyakabunga Group started partnership to implement Climate Smart Agricultural Research and Eastern Africa Agricultural Productivity Project (EAAPP) Technologies respectively. Dream Farm leadership and members appreciated NARO’s selection, hands on training in Climate Change Adaptation Innovations and support to start demonstration gardens for improved cassava NASE 14 for food security and pasture  multiplication Chloris Guyana for animal nutrition, both have provided food for households and livestock in dry range land cattle corridor during food crisis and scarcity of pasture.

In his presentation the Executive Director said group members have gained income from Hay, pasture seeds and cassava sales which assisted them to paddock and fence their farms, construct Hay stores and NGO office. NARO team thanked Dream Farm Kyakabunga Group for the good work done since the partnership started, they challenged members to work hard, be innovative to utilize small pieces of land productively, work as a team, consult where necessary and pledged to continue working together.
